Trust

Make it or Break it
What is it that holds a relationship together? Is it sex, happiness, chemistry, or trust? No matter what you say the answere to this question is all of this built upon trust. How can you be happy if there is no trust. When you have no trust it leads to jealousy. Jealousy can lead to an un healthy relationship. Couples today think that it is okay to be in a relationship like this, thinking it will be okayand it will get better. I am in a relationship and we have been together for almost two years now, and it was rough in the beginning but we learned to communicate and learned to trust each other. If you are married it is a little different becuase you are suppose to be commited. It is a big step when you get married because this is suppose to the person you want to spend the rest of your life with and start a family. I believe it is immature and infacuation when you want to start a family when you are not financially stable. How can one start a family when right from the beginning there is no trust and you already know how the other person is. I have a very close relative in this position. Well it has been hard to help her because her husband who is twenty one and she is twenty have a month old baby. He is a bad influence in her life and in the baby as well. I am not just saying this to be mean, because I am the type of person to give second and third chances to individuals who don't deserve it, however people make mistakes and deserve the benefit of the doubt. Well he has crossed the line with me due to very personal matters that have happened recently. I am very dissapointed in this close relative due to her choices and she even has let him come back into her life after what he just did to her recently. I do not know what to do or say to her anymore. It has also been hard for me because of what has happened. I told her to put him on child support, because with this process being done she can get money from him and won't have to think she is alone or even need him to depend on because I believe not only her but other women who are going through situations like this can have a choice. It is not over just because you do not have your once "significant other" in your life. There are resources and friends who are willing to help. It just lies in you if you want it.

  1. If trust gets broken or damaged, can it be rebuilt?

  2. yes i think it can..but it takes time and effort and commitment of both individuals. It may not be like it used to but it can be better.
